Go back to the basics of capitalism and discover the fun way how and why sheepherding is the earliest type of corporate organization.
Millions of sheep graze during summer months high in the Carpathian Mountains accompanied by shepherds who still live life as it was 2000 years ago. Three hairy breeds of shepherd dogs, that protect the sheep from wolves and bears, come from this region: Mioritic, Carpathian and Bukovina. –
We will leave in the morning from your hotel in Radauti or Gura Humorului, we will be driving for about one hour towards the starting point of your exploration.
We leave the motorized means of transportation and we start a half an hour light walk uphill towards the sheepfold.
Once there, we will meet the shepherds and decide together in which activities each one will be involved. We’re here to learn and have fun, but remember that shepherds will try your real skills. If you’re good enough, be sure there will be a glass of tzuica for you as a reward!
We’ll be staying at the sheepfold till the evening. Depending on the weather and time of year, we’ll either have a camp fire and dinner there before returning to the hotel, or go to a traditional Romanian restaurant.
Availability: This incentive package is available, with alterations due to weather conditions in the winter, all year long, in locations in Transylvania, Wallachia and in Bukovina. Please contact us for a custom offer.
